Painting a Boy's Toenails

This is Conor. He is my red headed friend. He let me get drunk and paint his toenails.

This is Sarah. She let me use her nail polish.

So, Conor was a good sport. When I got pretty drunk, I noticed that he had the LONGEST toenails I have ever seen. And then I wanted to paint them. And Sarah, who was an equally good sport, let me use her nail polish, since mine was back at my apartment.

I used Cover Girl Outlast Stay Brilliant in Red. It is Sarah's.

It is a metallic red color. I used one coat. I could have used two, but Conor was such a good sport, I felt guilty using more than one. It works as a one coater. It's good shit.

I made Conor pose with it.

He looks  very manly.

Oh shit, right, the formula. It could work as a one-coater, though I'd prefer two. I'd give it a 8 out of 10.

A England Dragon

For my very first post, I present to you A England Dragon!  But first, a short introduction to the blog.

This is a drunk nail polish blog. I will paint my nails while drunk and write the reviews while drunk!

So right. A England Dragon. I ordered this on a whim in January, right around the time that A England ran into the shipping issue with Royal Mail or something like that. I got it sometime in February and was thrilled. It is a holo emerald green color (side note, typing while drunk is insanely difficult, even moreso with wetish nails). Let's skip the chit chat and hit the pics.

So, I've had some success in painting my nails drunk in the past, but this time was a much more realistic experience. For starters, I kept getting it all over myself. The photo above is a very... authentic photo of what it looked like immediately after painting. The formula is pretty good -- it's basically a one coater, but I did two out of habit. I'd almost say it's a little liquidy (is that a word, liquidy?) in that I kept getting it all over my fingers.

Unfortunately, in the process of painting and writing, I kept fucking up my nails, like so:

... Whiiiiich lead me to have to add pressure with a Kleenex and wipe off the polish to start the nail all over again:

I don't know what else to tell you. It's a swell color, but on the scale of 1 to 10 for easiness to paint whilst drunk, I'd give it a 5. This is going to require some cleanup. A lot of cleanup.
